Two decades of experience support the outstanding trajectory of our school, attracting young people from all over the world with the desire to master Spanish. Designing the ideal educational material to facilitate learning has not been an easy task; It is the fruit of the experience accumulated over the years and the school's constant commitment to perfecting and streamlining the process of acquiring the Spanish language.

Following the premise of Gracia Lozano and J. P Placido Ruíz Pompilio (2009, P.128), which highlights the importance of having “a clear direction and a precise purpose”, our team of collaborators in Nueva Lengua has worked tirelessly to achieve the proposed objectives in teaching Spanish. We provide the necessary tools, since, as the cited authors mention, “the teacher must facilitate what is difficult” and offer opportunities for students to apply their knowledge in the real world. This approach is materialized through didactics, the dedication of teachers specialized in teaching Spanish and cultural activities inside and outside the classroom.

During these activities, students explore various spaces that represent history, culture, art, memory and society. By visiting iconic locations, students have access to authentic stories told by those who lived the story, giving life to the words. Additionally, they can participate in dance classes to learn rhythms and sounds that express memory and culture through movement, as well as explore the gastronomy, flavors, colors and aromas that are part of the communities of each region.

At our school, we welcome students with no prior knowledge, those with basic knowledge and those who have studied at universities and institutes but are looking to perfect their Spanish. It is rewarding for Nueva Lengua see the diversity of students from the United States, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, France, Brazil, Belgium, England, New Zealand and all over the world. Although it would be impossible to mention every student over these twenty years, what we can say, supported by the experiences of our students, is that the school has left an indelible mark on their lives. Not only do they learn Spanish, the main reason for their arrival, but they also find friends from different parts of the world and a welcoming environment.

Nueva Lengua It is presented as a pleasant place, where students immerse themselves in a familiar environment despite being far from their countries, family and friends. In Colombia, they discover a new family made up of individuals from diverse backgrounds, united by the common desire to learn Spanish. The school offers pleasant spaces that provide security and comfort, with natural environments that allow you to study and enjoy different temperatures, thanks to our locations in Bogotá, Cartagena, Ibagué and Medellín.

Our students witness the constant improvement of the school, and we are confident that this progress will continue. We strive to be the first option for those who want to learn Spanish, standing out for our excellence and educational quality.
