A delight for the palate!

Bogotá, Stefanie Mühlemann – People from all over the world meet at the “Nueva Lengua”. Together we organized a lunch in which we brought the traditional dishes of our country.

  • Maud from France brought crepes and…
  • …Patricia from Germany provided us with sandwiches.
  • Jette, Wake and Mila from the USA cooked beef and vegetable muffins.
  • Marcel from Switzerland delighted us with the typical dish “Gschwellti”.
  • Jakob from Denmark cooked up something very delicious. I don't remember the name though.
  • The teachers introduced us to various typical Colombian dishes such as different fruits, tamale, arepa and panelitas.
  • I baked a Swiss braid.
  • Two gentlemen from Brazil met spontaneously and enjoyed the variety.

We distributed each plate on a large table and each one presented what he had brought. A simple and colorful way to have lunch.

It was very interesting for me to learn about food from many different countries and also talk about it. The atmosphere was great and it was really a treat for the taste buds!
