Being adventurous is having a free spirit, being spontaneous, enjoying the little things, living every moment and appreciating every moment. Few people dare to take this path and launch into the unknown without thinking about what the result will be. Although we all want to travel, have a life full of emotions and new experiences, only some dare to do so.

This is the anecdote of Madhya christine wendt She is a backpacking traveler with an immense human warmth. She is very helpful, gentle, curious, brave, loyal, spiritual, and sometimes a perfectionist. She always wants to help others. Now, she has more free time to do what she likes: traveling and to learn Spanish.

It is evident that learning a new language such as Spanish as an adult faces us with various learning challenges as well as investment issues in time and money. However, the benefits that are obtained are invaluable. Madhya knows that life is a journey and that learning it is just one of the best ways to see the world and make that journey more interesting. It is a window into a new culture, and it gives you the opportunity to connect with completely new people. For her, learning Spanish has become an indispensable tool for traveling.

Madhya is a retired medical psychiatrist from Berlin - Germany. He has traveled to Colombia twice. The first time for a few days in December of last year and the second time for six months this year. He has loved this South American country especially its tropical climate. She went to many places: San Andrés y Providencia, Nicoclí, Capurganá, Sapzurro, Santa Fe de Antioquia, Salento, Jardín, Guatapé, Medellín, Cali, Bogotá, Buenaventura, San Cipriano, Cartagena, Tayrona National Park, Santa Marta, Taganga, Palomino and Minca. Say what, "This trip is a great experience in my life"

This adventurer visited Garden which is a Colombian municipality located in the department of Antioquia. It is located 134 kilometers from Medellín, the capital of the department. A very colorful and cozy town, which is surrounded by incredible natural landscapes, waterfalls and mountains. A place that is characterized by the friendliness of its inhabitants and by keeping intact the architecture of the Antioquia colonization. There, Madhya had the opportunity to ride a horse which is one of her great passions. She says that since she was a child, she loved horses and when she was 33 years old, she was responsible for taking care of 23 horses. He really enjoyed this tour on horseback through the mountains and waterfalls of this small country town.

In addition to the towns, this tourist traveled to Tayrona National Natural Park which is an exotic destination in the Colombian Caribbean. For those who love biodiversity, this park is a setting that combines nature, pre-Columbian history, adventure and relaxation. It is located 30 kilometers from the city of Santa Marta in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, the highest coastal mountain in the world. Its surface is part of the department of Magdalena. The park has bays, beaches, mangroves and coral reefs that frame an area of more than 15 thousand hectares of hills, forests and tropical jungle. In this paradise, Madhya slept in a tent for three days, swam on the beaches, relaxed, and went hiking; and during the walks between beach and beach, he found a variety of exotic fauna species. He was fascinated by this place.

One of the cities that Madhya has loved the most is Cartagena A beautiful city that displays all its charm in its people, its climate, its culture, its beaches, its typical food and the memories of a history of a Cartagena that falls in love with its splendor. In your opinion, “¡Cartagena is fantastic! It is a historic and modern city, very beautiful and has many options to do in your free time. The city is safe. There are many policemen who take care of that. " Lover of blue nature (sun, sea and breeze), this traveler enjoyed a long vacation and visited the islands of Playa Blanca in Barú, Isla Grande, Islas del Rosario and was captivated by the attractiveness of its waves, sand and over all, for the beautiful sunsets in front of the sea. Also, he did various recreational activities such as: walks, contemplation, rest and swimming. The latter is another of his passions, since his childhood he does it very well. In fact, her favorite verb in Spanish is to swim. Practically, it has felt like a fish in water. Express that, "In Colombia I feel absolutely fine and my adventure in this country has been great ”.

In Cartagena he studied Spanish for five weeks in our school Nueva Lengua. A very dear friend who had studied him here, recommended the school to himComment that, "Before my trip to Colombia I had the firm will to learn Spanish". Indeed, his learning has been very good. She had many advantages when studying it: the motivation, the organization and the techniques or strategies previously learned, the ease of acquiring another language, since she learned English and French a long time ago. Also, he has a wide vocabulary that he associates with his cultural background. She is a methodical student and eager to learn. Regarding his intensive Spanish course, he relates that “The classes were entertaining, pleasant and with professionalism ”. After classes, Madhya used to dive into the school pool.

Taking into account Madhya's experience in Colombia, the good news is that: ¡It is never too late to start studying Spanish, no matter how old you are! Mastering this language is an excellent way to "exercise" our brain and keep it healthy throughout our lives. It will help you a lot to improve neural flexibility, stay active and it will bring you closer to other people and cultures. So doing this apprenticeship in the country where it is spoken is very fruitful. In addition to the functionality and usefulness, the personal satisfaction that comes from being able to be in conversation with people from other regions is truly gratifying. You should check it out personally ... And you, are you an adventurer? Come to Colombia and learn Spanish in Nueva Lengua.
