Challenge yourself - Jungle Trek

In the middle of the jungle, about an hour from Bogotá, there was a waterfall. Without a doubt, the largest waterfall I have ever seen. After the beautiful views of Bogotá and the surrounding landscape on the way here, this was the icing on the cake.

Not to mention that this hike was all sun and lollipops. At the time, I was really out of shape, so between the constant haze of rain on the trail and being last in line of hikers from Nueva Lengua, I was about to give up! But the waterfall and the beauty of the Colombian countryside kept me moving. The hike down was going to be much easier than the hike up, and we would have another chance to enjoy the cow pastures and back roads that lead us to the mountain trail first. There was a lunch to look forward to, prepared for us by a local family at the foot of the mountain.

Of course, if I had been warned about the difficulty of the hike (intermediate or moderate according to most guides), I probably never would have tried. But I think that's the point: Colombia is full of adventures, big and small, that you don't expect, but that will challenge you regularly. Bogotá and the surrounding countryside will always leave you in search of the next adventure.

If you want to explore this wonderful Natural Park, Nueva Lengua He will take care of everything so that you have a great experience.
