He is Kai, a 27-year-old native of populous China. He came to Colombia with the purpose of learning Latin Spanish, specifically “in one of the Latin American countries where Spanish is more clearly spoken” these were his words to explain why he came to Colombia.

In this way and with that interest, he discovered our school: Nueva Lengua.

Likewise, he commented that the main reason why he wants to learn Spanish is because he wants to move to Peru permanently. In China he was, in his own words, “a simple English teacher”, but on this side of the world he is an artist. He is dedicated to photography, here are some of his works:

Despite the beautiful landscapes he has managed to photograph, he is in love with our country and his dream is to travel around South America and be able to store in his lens the most beautiful images of the paradise that is our continent.

He is currently studying a B1 level at the headquarters of school medellin Nueva Lengua but with an infinite willingness to continue studying, getting to know and enjoying himself until he becomes, in a few years, as he says, “just another Latin American”.
