This is the story of a South Korean visiting Colombian lands. She is Kim Jesoo, a girl from Seoul, who decided to take a year off from her job to travel all over South America.

Within his travel plan is Colombia, a country that caught his attention thanks to the charm movie. Intrigued by the Colombian "magic" and its diversity in fauna, flora, cultural diversity, gastronomy and above all the warmth of its people.

He began by taking a Spanish course at our school, at the Bogotá headquarters, for three weeks. She always stood out as a student who was very committed to her learning Spanish and she made a lot of progress in the time she took Spanish classes. She decided to learn more about the culture and places in Colombia after her Spanish classes in Bogotá, so she toured cities like Medellín, Cartagena, Santa Marta, San Andrés, the coffee region and of course Bogotá.

“I love Colombia, the best of all is the friendliness of the people, the beautiful landscapes and the music. I want to learn more Spanish because I want to sing Colombian music” Jesoo mentioned with great joy.

She participated in various activities with the Nueva Lengua School, learned about traditional Colombian games such as the tejo and the frog, visited cultural sites in the city such as the historic center, museums, the Plaza de Bolívar among others; Also, tourist places such as the salt cathedral in Zipaquirá, the monserrate hill and the savannah train. Without a doubt, his time in Bogotá was very interesting.

Most important of all, he was able to meet his Colombian friend, the one he met in Korea more than 10 years ago, but he hadn't seen him in a long time, so his happiness it was twice, as we Colombians would say. And not only did he meet his friend from years ago, he also made many new friends at school with whom he was able to travel and enjoy the magic and charm of the Colombian lands.

After spending two months in Colombia and making the most of his stay in the country, he continued his tour of Latin America, the next destination is Cuba, but without a doubt, Colombia now occupies a very special place in his heart.

“I will definitely return to Colombia, also, I recommend all my friends and family to come to this wonderful place. Colombia is a wonderful country!”
