I started with a four week Spanish course at Nueva Lengua Bogota During the first two weeks I felt that I had made a lot of progress. The methods and approach applied in the teaching process were effective in making me understand the lessons taught. The materials provided were immediately applicable in daily conversation. The teachers assigned to my class were professional and capable. Additionally, they were able to create a classroom learning environment as an expected routine. Therefore, I decided to continue taking the course up to the full levels available in Nueva Lengua.

After 170 hours of class meetings, my Spanish has allowed me to converse comfortably with Spanish-speaking people during my stay and trip in Colombia. It has also given me the opportunity to meet and make good friends in this country.

I owe this especially to all my teachers and to the director of the academic program, who has been very attentive and willing to provide me with a learning approach tailored to my learning needs. I would also like to give credit to non-academic staff, my peers, and other fellow students. Nueva Lengua for making my stay in Nueva Lengua a very enjoyable and rewarding learning journey.

My immense gratitude to all of them is expressed every time I communicate in Spanish.
