Through this short article we would like to share the experience of one of our students, who with the motivation of to learn Spanish, he found in Colombia a space to relax and to feel emotionally calmer.

Many of our students have found here at Colombia an escape from the daily routine that they live in their countries. Young people and adults, apart from learning Spanish in this new space, have also met new people, classmates and colleagues with whom they have won new friends. Friends who have been like their brothers at different times lived, and with whom they have shared similar experiences since they have been united by Spanish classes.

In this case we will talk about Jonathan: one of our students from Denmark, who had the opportunity to come learn Spanish with us to Colombia, where he also has family.

Jonathan not only did he learn Spanish, but he also participated in almost every cultural activities What does the school provide? Nueva Lengua, and in each of these activities he had the opportunity to get to know the students better. So, thanks to his personality and the opportunity to share many hours with his classmates, Jonathan took in his heart many people who, like him, gained the gift of friendship, linking different cultures from different countries in a single language: The Spanish.

Jonathan He returned to Denmark very happy because he was finally able to communicate with his grandmother (who is Colombian), more clearly and with greater security. Not only did he leave happy because of this, but because he left good friends in other parts of the world with whom he is still in contact after several months of leaving.
