At a height of 650 masl in the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta we found a small corregimiento just 45 minutes from the capital of Magdalena. Minca, the paradise of La Sierra.
Thanks to its privileged location, Coin It has a temperate climate, 27C ° with moderate rain and the best view to see Santa Marta, Rodadero, Ciénaga and the Caribbean Sea from the top.
Its soil is so rich that many farmers have different crops in these mountains. From coffee and cocoa farms, to lettuce, zucchini and edible flower plantations, they are harvested throughout the year, thus having always fresh ingredients to supply the restaurants in the city and its surroundings.
Dutch, French, English, Argentines, Chileans and Americans - just to mention a few nationalities - have found in this little paradise a place to stay and start with their business ideas. Therefore, you can find international restaurants, the best quality coffee and local breweries that prepare craft beers with spring water directly from the Sierra to delight your palate.
Due to this cultural diversity, it is an ideal place to meet local and foreign people. You can live a language exchange every day, but Spanish is the main language to communicate. The variety of dialects and accents make it one of the best options to practice and improve your spanish.
