As the contemporary world remains constantly changing, traditional games can serve as an anchor that helps communities to maintain their traditions and resist the influence of globalized culture.

Likewise, they contribute to the definition of cultural identity, because they can reflect unique aspects of culture, such as history, beliefs, customs and social relationships. It is worth mentioning that the transmission throughout history of these traditions associated with the game strengthens family ties and promotes the continuity of culture. It should be noted that many traditional games are associated with cultural festivities and celebrations. These games contribute to the festive atmosphere and reinforce the connection between culture and celebrations.
