One of the experiences you can have study spanish in bogota is the fun cooking class at our school, where we learn Spanish through the pleasure of eating.

Every week we learn recipes for delicious Colombian dishes with the support and pleasant company of a Spanish teacher, who teaches us everything from the names of kitchen utensils to the verbs that we will use throughout the process. In addition, we have the guidance and advice of a great woman who is part of the kitchen team at Nueva Lengua.

Each class is unique, the atmosphere is pleasant and everything is well organized. The most interesting thing is that, between vegetables and fruits, salt and sugar, between acid and bitter, you learn dishes like the famous “Patacones with Hogao".

Worldly Bar in Brazil

Rodrigo, a student from Brazil who came to learn Spanish in Bogotá, was fascinated by our class of Patacones, so much so that when he returned to his country he made the decision to embark on his dream of opening a bar, and the Patacones They had and eyebrow (which means to be obsessed with a specific idea. Here you can see more idioms with the use of the verb "To have"). He created the “Bar Mundano” and one of the most requested dishes by Brazilians is the recipe that he learned one day in his cooking class at the Spanish school. Nueva Lengua: "The patacones with Hogao".

So, if you have any curiosity or taste for Latin American cuisine and at the same time you are interested in learning Spanish, I invite you to explore the flavors of Colombian cuisine at Nueva Lengua and live your own experience with us! Of course you will like it and who knows. Maybe you will be our next testimony of dreams and goals achieved.
