Marco Unaian Neves de Miranda is a boy from Brazil who came to Cartagena not only to study Spanish, he also saw this trip as a great opportunity to make his dream come true, for him the countries of Latin America are the best, especially Colombia, because he thinks it is a very strong symbol.

Marcos likes how the people of Cartagena dress, speak and express themselves, he says that a few years ago he saw a movie where one of its scenes shows the historical part of Cartagena and it was at that moment that he decided to fulfill his great dream of get to know Cartagena because he discovered that its colonial architecture is closely related to that of a small town called Pirinópolis located in Brasilia, and that is why he feels a great connection when he visits these colonial places, when walking through the streets of Cartagena he feels life in them, he feels that the walls and walls tell stories through their joy and great kindness.

When this boy traveled to Cartagena, he decided not to look for information about the city because he wanted everything to be a surprise, and so it was, each moment lived, place visited, food consumed, known person and experiences lived, were a surprise for this Brazilian who He came to immerse himself in our Cartagena culture.

In addition, he had the opportunity to meet wonderful people in the Nueva Lengua School, which he chose for study Spanish because of its location, because for him, the Getsemaní neighborhood is one of the most recognized in the city for its stories, colors and a lot of joy. He also assures that his time at the school was wonderful, he thanks the kindness of all the workers, especially the teachers who were so attentive and always with a good attitude, he also talks about his dance classes in which he had the opportunity to learn different rhythms such as: mapalé, salsa and champeta, which he was able to practice in the nightlife that he lived intensely in the heroica, as he ensures that they are nights full of music, fun, camaraderie and joy.

When the topic of Cartagena food comes up, his face shows satisfaction, especially with the school meals, he says that the food was very good and adds: “When I travel, I miss Brazilian food a lot, but in Cartagena I didn't need it because it is very delicious and also similar to that of my country.".

To summarize his moment here, he says that what he will remember the most is the people of Cartagena for their joy and kindness and he also says: "I'm sure I'll go back to school because here I felt at home."
