Many of the people who decide to study Spanish with us, combine their course with other activities, some alternate their language learning by exercising physically either with dance classes, others doing some kind of sport or going to the gym; an example of this is the student Francesco Frattarelli from Italy who spent eight weeks in Cartagena and he trained physically at the same time he took his Spanish course.

Francesco is a ski and gym teacher and studied Spanish at a school in Spain and was recommended there Nueva Lengua, that's why he decided to study with us.

"I knew Nueva Lengua Through my old Spanish school that I frequented in Spain and they recommended this school to me to study here ”-Francesco says explaining his reasons for studying Spanish here.

He chose Cartagena because he likes history and says he finds the city very interesting and historical. Before starting his Spanish course, Francesco expected to learn a lot about this language and the Cartagena and Colombian culture and he says that his expectations were met and he is happy about that.

During his time in Cartagena, Francesco made many friends and had fun with them and that helped him to practice Spanish and learn more about Cartagena's daily life. On the other hand, he also took the opportunity to train in a gym located about a 20-minute walk from the school, usually in the afternoon after his Spanish classes. For the last mentioned above, it can be said that Francesco did a dual training because he exercised physically and also academically learning Spanish and the Colombian culture in the school Nueva Lengua.

Regarding Colombia, Francesco expresses that it is a very beautiful country, that the Spanish spoken here seems standard to him and he likes Colombian culture a lot, especially that of Cartagena. His experience in the city and in the country has been very good, since he has been able to visit many interesting places: “My tourist experience has been very good, I have been able to visit many places… I went to visit Santa Marta, I also went to visit Tayrona Park which is a park with incredible nature and that I recommend, I also went to visit Medellín which is a city beautiful with all the very beautiful places and Guatapé which is close to Medellín where there is this very large stone where you can climb and contemplate a very special view ”-Francesco tells about his travels in Colombia.

Francesco is planning to work in Argentina or Chile and says he needs Spanish for that. That is why his learning of the language will not end here in Colombia, for now we can say that his time in Colombia was great and that he had an excellent dual training and that he has great experiences lived in school, in the city and in the country. "My experience can help other people because I can surely recommend this school and I can recommend the city of Cartagena as well" -Comments Francesco.

If you would like to study Spanish and you also want to exercise physically either by taking dance classes, or doing some sport (In Cartagena you can do windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking or diving) or if you prefer to go to a gym near the school or your accommodation, we invite you to do with us as Francesco did. We guarantee that you will have the best dual training of your life.
