The classes are intense but a lot of fun, full of culture and interesting discussions. Classes are carefully structured so that all students feel comfortable at the level they are studying. All classes include review, grammar, lots of exercises and conversation. And lots of talk! Talk about Nueva Lengua It is not talking about a course, but about the relationships that can be built in such a short time in a new country. And that way you learn a language much better. As in my childhood, the bell rang punctually to enter and leave class, but the most expected was always the signal for break. Crispetas with coffee prepared with great care by Mrs. Yenys to liven up the 15 minutes of conversation with friends in the adjoining room. Every Monday was a new day, when new students and new friends arrived.
The relationship with students and teachers is strengthened during the different activities offered by the school when we are not in class: voluntary work, visits to museums and attractions of the city. Needless to say, it's much more fun and valuable than doing the same thing on a regular sightseeing tour. I had the great pleasure of spending years with these special people. I ate cake, lunch with friends, Colombian roses, gifts and we even went out dancing at night. When did you imagine that you could bring together so many new people in such a short time? I stayed with a family, a young couple who received me in the best Colombian way. We always had dinner together and it was time to share stories. Without a doubt, it is the best accommodation option when you want to really get to know a country. A special thanks and I hope I have not forgotten anyone: Federico, Ana María, Verónica, Nicolás, Juliana, John, Florian, Jennifer, Nathalia, Lukas, Severin, Midori, Camila, Ramona, Daniel R., Daniel E., Ligia, Sire, Ledys, Jesús and everyone I met these weeks. Thank you all so much for such incredible weeks that I carry in my heart to Brazil!
