At the end of December 2014 I traveled to Cartagena to attend the language school Nueva Lengua for ten weeks. I immediately felt comfortable in Cartagena and at school. It was like arriving in another world: warm weather, unhurried and the tranquility of the locals surprised me.

At school, I especially liked the structure and structure of the lessons. Every day we had communication and grammar lessons from 8 am to 11 am. Later from 11 am to 12 am the teacher changed and we had an hour of conversation. Teachers change every two weeks. Learning Spanish At Nueva Lengua is one thing, but the other thing is that I got to meet a lot of new people from all over the world at the school. Another good thing is that during the classes we also learned a lot about the culture and social life of Colombia and Latin America.

Learning Spanish is not the only benefit in Nueva Lengua. I had the chance of meet and make friends with many people from all over the world. In addition, the school offered many activities in the afternoons and I had the opportunity to learn about the life and customs of Colombia.

I highly recommend the school because the teaching team is very professional and the organization of the school was perfect for me. In addition, the school is small and therefore has a family character. The price/performance ratio is excellent. I hope to return to Cartagena one day to further improve my Spanish.
