Can´t think of a better place to have spent my summer holidays. I decided to study in Cartagena seen as my favourite book is Love in the Time of Cholera and all my expectations have been exceeded. I have had some of the best months of my life. Words cannot describe how wonderful the city of Cartagena is: it´s the perfect city and has everything to offer: magnificent buildings, the sea, the food and nightlife. I chose the stay with a Host family as I thought this was the best way to improve my Spanish and I was correct. What´s more, I now have a Colombian family of my own. The school has the perfect balance of professional and fun at the same time. I have learnt an enormous amount due to the encouragement of the teachers and their great teaching skills. In the end I came here with the intention of improving my Spanish and getting to know a new culture nd I have left with even more, friends for life from all over the world as well as a second home.
