All that charm that captures visitors to this wonderful Cartagena is within the walled shell, in the very bowels of the colonial center.

The streets of Cartagena are simply stunning where suspicious wisdom is reflected and they waste a feast of art, ingenuity and intellectual lust… the baroque door frames and columns are evident in the facades of the churches and conventional sites of the time. The hanging balconies of the flower-adorned houses give a dreamlike air to the surroundings; the streets of Cartagena by themselves are a living poetry.

Today they are an area frequented by its inhabitants: houses inhabited and occupied by families and businesses.

Place to visit, to learn, to know. To feel in person the entire history of the Spanish conquest because behind all this there is living history, pain, slavery, wealth and wisdom.

If you want to visit and get to know Cartagena, Nueva Lengua takes you to explore this magnificent city.

All the articles in this blog have been written by the teachers of our school and by students from different countries who traveled to Colombia to learn Spanish.
