Anika is a medical student of German nationality. She was in our school for two weeks. During the interview, I asked him how was your experience in Nueva Lengua? She was very happy, she replied: “I had a wonderful time at school in Cartagena. The school is like a small family and I feel very comfortable here. My Spanish has improved a lot in these weeks, the teachers are super friendly and professional, the classes are very well structured. I liked the moments of revision, grammar and conversation. Also, I had the opportunity to meet other students of different nationalities and we practiced Spanish in an interactive environment and discussed different current issues. Actually, I had excellent Spanish classes"

Regarding your experiences in this charming city, I asked what did you think of Cartagena? “Cartagena is a beautiful, safe and very colorful city to stay in for a longer period. It has everything you need. There are many beaches and islands nearby to relax. I loved the Las Islas del Rosario National Natural Park (a small archipelago made up of about 28 islands). I visited the historic center (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO), the castle of San Felipe de Barajas (the largest military fortification in America) and the Totumo Volcano (considered an exotic and natural wonder) ”. In addition, the student commented that: “in the afternoons I went to dance classes and cooking classes organized by the school. They were very fun! There is always something to do. It was worth coming here and getting to know Colombian culture ”.

At the end of his testimony, he said that: “I would definitely recommend the school Nueva Lengua for students of any level. The best way to learn a new language is to immerse yourself in it.
