What association is this?

This is the association “The Visitation Solidarity Foundation”. The latter was created in 1989.

Its objective is to help and support children and young people from disadvantaged and remote areas of Medellin who do not find opportunities to study and work.

This foundation allows instilling in children a certain education as well as values ​​that aspire to peace.

How to get there?

The subway makes it easy to get there. The nearest metro station to the association is Hospital subway station. Volunteers will then have the option of taking a bus from the Hospital metro station to the association or taking a taxi.

It takes about 30-45 minutes in total from the school to get there.

What do the volunteers do there?

Volunteers will have the opportunity to come and support this association about 6 hours a week in addition to Spanish lessons offered.

They will have the opportunity to meet and help children in need in exchange for many smiles and love.

Will be able participate in fun activities with the children organizing games or teaching them words from their own country.
