The next 23 of April will be the World Book Day, and here in Colombia we are celebrating it in a big way with the inauguration of one of the most important fairs in the country: Filbo: (Feria Internacional del libro Bogotá).

If you are around and you have the opportunity, we suggest you to visit and have a look at the biggest cultural event in the country. You can find more then 300 national and international authors, more then 500 exhibitors and more then 3 million different books!

Moreover several events and interactive activities for children will be in pace.

In the Spanish School Nueva Lengua we celebrate the world book day offering at our students the possibility to take back home some photographic books that shows the beauty of our country.

“Colombia 360° ” for example, more then a book,it is a sensory experience. A collection of panoramic pictures of Colombia, in a way that you have never seen before! It is a trip through twenty-nine Colombian cities and towns.It is a visual experience that will take you to a place that the human eye can’t reach!

“Delicious tropical fruits” is the “Bible” of tropical fruits: inside you can find all different varieties of culinary recipies as well as medical and cosmetic ones. It is a book that will open a door to a healthy gastronomic experience, an invitation, more then a book, to introduce fruits in your daily life as a healthy and delcious food .

“Cafes de Colombia” illustrate Colombia from a coffe point of view, where each grain has a unique aroma and flavor. A photographic book that will make you want to stop and enjoy a cup of Colombian coffee. In the book you can find a full description of the production process: from the plantation to the preparation. You will also understand why there are different quality and which one are the so-called “Special Coffees”. A collection of more then 500 images that showcase the life and the established coffee culture of the country.
