Nueva Lengua is a welcoming school for foreigners from all nations who want to learn Spanish in Colombia. In addition, it is an expert tourism agency in the management of people who visit the country. One of the pillars of the institution is its teaching model, and one that gives us an enormous advantage for the benefit of students, is our successful learning method, in which we try to make students feel the city, its people, its culture and gastronomy starting with the place where they stay.

The idea is that they can know, experience and fall in love with Colombia, facilitating the learning of the language. Students will be able to choose in their study plan, various tourist activities offered by the School Nueva Lengua.

THE TUTELAR HILL

One of the plans that you cannot miss and that we offer in Nueva Lengua it is the ascent to the hill of Monserrate.

Monserrate identifies us as a city and Bogotá represents it to the world. Like the Christ of Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro, the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Statue of Liberty in New York.

Going to Monserrate will be an opportunity to meet our Lord Jesus, undoubtedly the most important character in the history of this world, who decided to watch the city from its highest point.
Upon arriving at the Church, the visitor will understand a little more the suffering of God when he became man, and what that torture was of ascending a mountain with the cross on his shoulders.

Whoever goes up and sees the image of the Fallen Lord, will understand how Jesus was tortured, humiliated and persecuted from before he was born until the day of his death.

That man they tried to kill not only in body, but in soul.
That tortured God in the image that we are going to recognize in the church of Monserrate, teaches us what true love is.

And, as if that were not enough, that same man who gave his life for us, is willing to forgive us even when we have sinned seriously.

THE PANORAMA

When you reach the top of Monserrate, the city looks imposing. Many of those who go up, do so whenever the opportunity presents itself and express their voice of gratitude to God for the favors received. For blessings and graces that they received from the Lord's hands.

Going to the top can be done in three ways:
· By air in a cable car.
· By rails in a funicular.
· Or on foot, along a path that millions travel since dawn in the form of a staircase to end at the top, just like the others.

The student who visits Monserrate finds three things basically: the fervor of the masses, the highest point of the city and a place for meditation and silent prayer.

Then, you can enjoy delicious food accompanied by a good hot panela water with cheese.

So students from the United States, Holland, Switzerland, Germany or Russia, among other countries, will be able to certify if what they say is true. That the one who climbs the hill is never the same one who comes down from the mountain.
