Tuition Refund Policy – Nueva Lengua

The registration fee and the homestay placement fee are non-refundable at all times.
To apply for a tuition refund, the student, or the agent, must submit a written notice of withdrawal.
 In this policy, the word "programme" refers to the full cycle of studies and homestay to which the student registered.

1. Effective before the start date

 
1.1 If a student cancels their course 30 days or more before their course commencement date, all fees - except the registration fee and the homestay placement fee - will be refunded.
1.2 If a student cancels their course less than 30 days before their course commencement date, a cancellation fee of 25% of tuition fees will apply. All other fees, except the the registration fee and the homestay placement fee will be refunded.

1.3 If a student cancels within 7 days of the contract signing, the school will retain 30% of the tuition fees or USD 200, whichever is less, and refund the difference to the student.

1.4 All fees, except The registration fee and the homestay placement fee, will be refunded if the student is not granted a visa.

2. Effective after the start date

 
2.1 If a student cancels (or is dismissed) within 6 calendar days of the start date of the programme or 10% of the time period for which he/she has registered (whichever is less), the school will refund 60% of all tuition fees paid under the contract.

2.2 If a student cancels (or is dismissed) within 30% of the programme time period, the school will refund 30% of all tuition fees paid under the contract.

2.3 No refund will be paid if a student cancels (or is dismissed) when 30% or more of the programme has been completed.

 
3. Accommodation

3.1 If accommodation is cancelled after a student has arrived at the accommodation, one week’s notice must be given, or one-week accommodation charge paid.

3.2 If a student requests to change accommodation an additional accommodation finding fee may be charged.

3.3 If a student decides to leave accommodation the school has arranged and wants money he or she has paid to the school refunded, this will be possible for those weeks remaining so long as at least one week’s notice is given.

3.4 Refunds will be given 15 days after departure from accommodation.
