Intensive Spanish Course

Available in: Bogotá, Cartagena and Panamá

The Intensive Spanish Course offers 26 hours per week, which is made up of 20 hours of Spanish class time, 5 hours of cultural activities and one hour of Dance lesson. We welcome students, professionals, and families to study with us.

This course is offered Monday through Friday beginning at 8 am until 12pm, and prospective students may enroll any Monday of the year that is not an official holiday. The first lesson (8 - 10:45) focuses on building skills in grammar and vocabulary. A brief break is offered, followed by the second lesson (11-12) focusing on practicing those skills in reading, listening and conversation activities. Optional cultural outings are available in the afternoons and vary each week.

Course Objectives:

Students will improve their Spanish listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Students will gain cultural experiences valuable to appreciate the city and its people.

Course Characteristics:

Professional instructors with accredited university degrees, classroom experience, a passion for teaching, and a love of languages.

Courses ruled by both the Common European Framework of references for languages (CEF) and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages Guidelines.

Six levels are offered.

Course materials to allow students to complete homework outside of classes.

Small classes to provide more individual attention.

A placement exam for new students and weekly progresss evaluation.

A positive learning environment that includes comfortable classrooms and public computers with internet access (wifi available as well).

A free weekly latin dance class that includes a professional teacher and exposes students to a variety of styles.

Cultural activities twice a week.
